1. Overview

At Samyog Living, every piece is crafted and packed with care. This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how we process, dispatch, and deliver your furniture orders, and what you can expect at every step.


2. Order Processing & Lead Times

Ready-to-Ship Items: Dispatch in 3–5 business days after payment confirmation.
Made-to-Order / Custom Items: Standard production time 4–8 weeks (complex pieces may take longer; we’ll confirm timelines on order).
Quality Check: All items undergo thorough quality inspection before dispatch.
Multiple-Item Orders: We may ship items together or in separate consignments depending on readiness and logistics.

We’ll notify you via email/SMS when your order is confirmed, dispatched, and when tracking is available.


3. Shipping Timelines (Transit)

Metro & Tier-1 Cities (India): Typically 3–7 business days in transit after dispatch.
Tier-2/3 & Remote Locations: Typically 5–10 business days in transit after dispatch.
Delays: Weather, strikes, festivals, or carrier constraints may affect timelines. We’ll keep you informed in such cases.


4. Delivery Partners & Service Type

We use reliable surface freight and furniture-specialist carriers for safe, bulky-item handling.
The standard service is ground-floor door delivery.
Room-of-choice delivery and on-site assembly are available in select pin codes and may attract an additional fee (quoted before dispatch).


5. Shipping Charges

India (Retail): Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on pin code, weight/volume, and service type.
Bulk/B2B/Project Orders: Door-to-door or FOB/EXW terms as per contract/PI.
International Shipping: Available on request. Freight, customs, taxes, and duties are borne by the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.


6. Tracking Your Order

A tracking link/ID is shared by email/SMS once your order ships.
Tracking updates may reflect with a short delay depending on the carrier’s system.

7. Address & Contact Information

Please ensure your shipping address and phone number are accurate at checkout.
Address changes are possible before dispatch only; email us promptly if needed.
If the courier is unable to reach you, they may attempt re-delivery. Re-delivery charges (if any) will be borne by the customer.


8. Delivery Attempts & Missed Delivery

Carriers usually make 1–2 delivery attempts. If unsuccessful, the shipment may be held at a local hub.
Any storage, re-attempt, or return-to-origin (RTO) costs arising from missed delivery or incorrect address will be chargeable.


9. Receiving Your Order (Inspection)

On delivery, please inspect the outer packaging for any visible damage.
If you notice severe transit damage, you may refuse delivery and immediately email photos/videos to info@samyogliving.com.
If damage is noticed after unpacking, inform us within 48 hours with clear photos/videos (see “Shipping Damage” below).


10. Shipping Damage

For rare transit damages:
Email info@samyogliving.com within 48 hours of delivery with your Order ID, invoice, and photos/videos.
Our team will review within 2–3 business days. If approved, we’ll arrange repair, part replacement, full replacement, or a suitable resolution.
Keep the original packaging until the claim is resolved, as it may be required for pickup or inspection.

11. Assembly & Installation

Some products are shipped fully assembled, while others are knock-down (KD) with simple assembly instructions and required hardware.
Professional assembly is available in select locations for an additional fee. Please request this before dispatch.


12. Custom Duties & Taxes (International)

International orders may attract import duties, customs fees, VAT/GST, and local taxes as per the destination’s regulations.
These charges are payable by the customer and are not included in the product price or standard shipping unless explicitly agreed upon.


13. COD & Payment Terms

Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available for furniture orders.
We accept secure prepaid payment methods (credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, bank transfer).
For B2B/project orders, payment terms are as per the Proforma Invoice (PI) or contract.


14. Force Majeure

Delays or non-performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control — such as natural disasters, strikes, logistics disruptions, pandemics, or regulatory actions — do not constitute a breach.
We’ll always do our best to keep you updated and ensure delivery at the earliest possible time.


15. Risk, Title & Ownership

Risk passes to the customer upon delivery at the shipping address.
Title/ownership of the goods transfers to the customer only upon receipt of full payment as per invoice/contract terms.
