Commercial Furniture Manufacturers in India

Samyog Living manufactures contract-grade furniture for business spaces — reception areas, co-working floors, retail interiors, staff cafeterias, banquet halls, clubhouses and hospitality venues. We work from a 45,000 sq ft factory in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, where every piece is designed, engineered, built, finished and packed under one roof.

We are a manufacturer, not a trading house. That distinction matters when you're specifying for a commercial space, because it means your finish is mixed to your reference rather than picked from someone else's stock, and a re-order in eighteen months still matches the original run.

Commercial furniture fails differently to domestic furniture. It gets dragged rather than lifted, cleaned with industrial products several times a day, and handled by people who are in a hurry. We build for that: reinforced joinery at the points that actually break, catalysed finishes that tolerate repeated cleaning, and hardware chosen for service life rather than showroom feel.

Seven segments

Commercial furniture by space

01

Reception & Lobby

The first room anyone judges you in.

Reception furniture has an awkward brief: it has to look considered enough to represent the brand, and survive being sat on by every visitor, courier and candidate who comes through the door. Domestic-grade upholstery in a busy reception shows a permanent seat impression within months.

We build lounge seating on solid wood frames with commercial-grade foam, and pair it with consoles, coffee tables and side tables in matched finishes. Lighting is made in house too, so a floor lamp or pendant can be specified to the same wood and metal finish as the furniture rather than sourced separately and almost matching.

Because frames are solid rather than engineered board, a piece that takes a knock can usually be repaired in place instead of replaced.

02

Co-working & Breakout

Communal tables, soft seating and high-top zones for flexible floors.

Co-working spaces need furniture that supports three different postures in the same room: focused work at a table, informal conversation on soft seating, and quick stand-up meetings at counter height. Buying those from three suppliers is how you end up with a floor that looks assembled rather than designed.

Our dining tables work well as communal work tables — 6-seater and 8-seater formats in solid wood, with live-edge options where the space wants a focal point. For high-top zones we make bar tables and bar chairs, and for lounge corners, low-seat chairs, accent chairs and sofas.

Everything can be specified in the same wood and finish across all three zones.

03

Hospitality

Hotels, resorts, restaurants, cafés and bars.

Hospitality is our largest commercial segment. The requirements are the sharpest in the category — furniture in constant use, guests who notice everything, and operators who need a re-order to match a fit-out done two years earlier.

We hold colour and grain consistent across a 40-cover restaurant or a multi-floor property by batch-producing against approved control samples and keeping those samples on file.

Each hospitality type has its own specification page.

04

Office Cafeteria & Informal Zones

Staff dining, pantry seating and the informal areas people actually use.

Cafeteria furniture takes a specific kind of punishment: high turnover at lunch, wiped down repeatedly, chairs pushed back hard. The failure point on a dining chair is almost always the joint where the seat frame meets the back leg, and we reinforce that junction rather than relying on the finish to hide movement.

Table tops are specified for the cleaning regime, not just the look. Catalysed lacquer and hardwax oil behave very differently under a spray sanitiser used twenty times a day, and we'll tell you which suits your operation before you commit.

For seating capacity, our dining tables come in 2, 4, 6 and 8-seater formats across round, square, rectangular and oval shapes, so you can plan the floor to a cover count rather than working backwards from what's available.

05

Retail & Showroom

Seating, display surfaces and fitting-room furniture that stays out of the product's way.

Retail furniture has a job most furniture doesn't: it has to be good enough to signal quality and quiet enough not to compete with what's on sale. We tend towards simple forms in honest materials for retail work — solid wood benches, stools, and consoles with clean lines rather than decorative detail.

Sideboards and consoles double as display surfaces and concealed storage. Benches and stools handle fitting rooms and waiting areas. Accent chairs work where a retail space needs somewhere for a partner to sit while a customer browses.

Finishes can be matched to your brand palette — send a Pantone reference, a physical sample, or a photograph of an existing fixture.

06

Banquet & Event

Function rooms, event spaces and venues that reconfigure between bookings.

Banquet furniture is judged on two things nobody mentions in the brief: handling weight and how fast a room can be turned. A beautiful chair that takes two people to move is a chair your staff will resent for a decade.

Tell us how many you need to move, how far, and how often, and we'll recommend accordingly. Weight, grip points and whether a frame takes being lifted rather than dragged all change what we'd build for you.

For bar and drinks service we make bar tables, bar chairs and back-bar storage, so the same finish carries from the dining floor to the counter.

07

Clubhouse & Community

Residential clubhouses, member lounges and shared amenity floors.

Clubhouse furniture sits between commercial and domestic. It needs commercial durability because it's shared, but it has to feel comfortable enough that residents actually use the space rather than walking through it.

We supply lounge seating including classic Chesterfield forms in leather, alongside coffee tables, side tables and bar cabinets for member bars. Dining sets handle shared kitchen and event areas.

For outdoor amenity spaces — pool decks, terraces, garden seating — we build in kiln-dried timber with coated metal fixings and outdoor-rated finish chemistries rather than adapting an indoor coating.

Inside our Jodhpur factory

Jodhpur has made furniture for generations, and most of what leaves the city is made by hand in small workshops. We kept the hand skills and added the machinery that makes them repeatable — which is the difference between a beautiful one-off and 300 matching units.

Our 45,000 sq ft facility runs CNC processing for accurate, repeatable parts, calibrated sanding for consistent surface preparation, and computer-controlled kilns so timber is held to a specified moisture content rather than guessed at. Wood treatment happens in house, so we control material stability from log to finished piece.

The machinery is imported from Taiwan. The joinery decisions are made by craftspeople who have been cutting these joints their whole working lives. Neither alone produces contract-grade furniture.
