ORDERING, LEAD TIMES & PAYMENT

Does Samyog Living sell to individual customers or only to businesses?

Samyog Living works on a B2B basis only. We supply cafes, restaurants, hotels, resorts, short-stay and Airbnb properties, and QSR chains on a project and bulk basis rather than single-piece retail orders.

If you are an owner, operator, architect, interior designer or procurement partner working on a commercial space, write to info@samyogliving.com with your requirement and we will revert with a quotation.

What is the lead time for a Samyog Living furniture order?

Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks from order confirmation, counted once the advance payment is received and the final specification is signed off.

Every order is manufactured to your specification at our Jodhpur factory, so production starts only after the design, dimensions and finish are approved. Very large or highly detailed projects can require longer, and we confirm the schedule in writing on the proforma invoice.

What are Samyog Living's payment terms for bulk orders?

We work on 50% advance against order confirmation, with the balance 50% payable before dispatch, once the order is manufactured and ready to ship.

Terms are recorded on the proforma invoice issued at the start of the project. For export orders, commercial terms are quoted on an FOB or EXW basis.

What is the minimum order quantity for a project?

We take on projects from ten pieces upward, and trade pricing applies from that point. Volume improves pricing, but there is no fixed tier table — a hundred identical chairs and a hundred mixed pieces are different manufacturing problems.

Fully bespoke designs developed from scratch need enough volume to justify sampling and tooling. Send your requirement, quantities and timeline to info@samyogliving.com and we will quote against it.

How do I request a quotation from Samyog Living?

Email info@samyogliving.com or call +91-8441996000 with your project details — the type of space, item list and quantities, preferred wood and finish, target budget, and the date you need delivery.

Drawings, mood boards or reference images help us quote accurately. A floor plan and a cover or key count is often enough to start; you get back a specified list with quantities, finishes, lead time and a landed price.

Can designs, dimensions, finishes and upholstery be customised?

Yes — full customisation is available. Because we own our manufacturing, we can alter dimensions, wood species, stain and polish, upholstery fabric or leather, and hardware to suit your brief and brand identity. Brand and Pantone matching is available, and we hold the colour recipe on file afterwards.

We also develop entirely new designs from your drawings or concepts. Structural integrity is maintained through every change so the piece remains fit for commercial use.

Can we see samples or a mock-up before bulk production begins?

Yes. For most projects we produce a sample or mock-up piece for approval before the full production run starts, so you can check proportions, comfort, finish and upholstery in person.

Finish swatches and material samples can also be sent ahead of that. Sign-off on the control sample is the point at which the bulk schedule is locked, and that sample stays on file after delivery so a repeat order matches.

How is delivery handled for bulk and project orders?

Freight is charged at a flat 20% of order value and shown on your proforma invoice, either door-to-door or on FOB / EXW terms depending on the agreement. We use surface freight and furniture-specialist carriers experienced in handling bulky, fragile consignments.

Goods are packed to export standard, and we consolidate into scheduled dispatches rather than shipping piecemeal. Share the site address, access constraints and any delivery window early so we can plan the consignment around your fit-out schedule.

Does Samyog Living export furniture internationally?

Yes. We are a Jodhpur-based manufacturer and exporter and supply hospitality projects outside India.

Export orders are quoted on FOB or EXW terms with moisture-barrier packaging, edge protection and documentation aligned to the destination. Freight, customs clearance, import duties and local taxes are borne by the buyer unless agreed otherwise in writing. Email info@samyogliving.com with your destination port, item list and quantities.

SECTORS, MATERIALS & QUALITY

Which sectors does Samyog Living supply furniture for?

We manufacture contract furniture for cafes, restaurants, hotels, resorts, short-stay and Airbnb properties, and QSR chains — from ten pieces to properties of 500 keys and more.

Typical scope includes dining chairs and tables, bar stools and bar counters, lounge and lobby seating, banquette and booth seating, hotel and resort bedroom furniture, sideboards, and outdoor seating — specified for the traffic levels each space actually sees.

What materials does Samyog Living use?

We work in six seasoned hardwoods: acacia, mango, sheesham, teak, ash and oak. Each is selected for the piece and the environment rather than applied uniformly across a range. Timber is kiln-dried to a specified moisture content and checked before packing.

Frames and structural components are solid timber. Engineered panels — MDF or plywood — are used only where they are the correct technical choice, such as large flat surfaces, backing panels and drawer bases, where a panel stays flatter than solid wood over years of service. We do not use particle board. Alongside wood we produce leather and fabric upholstery, including Chesterfield seating, stools, poufs and ottomans.

Which wood is best for a high-traffic cafe or restaurant?

For heavy-use seating and tabletops, the denser hardwoods perform best. Teak brings natural oils and excellent moisture resistance, which suits outdoor terraces and poolside areas. Oak offers hardness and a pronounced grain that works well for tabletops. Ash is tough and shock-resistant, traditionally favoured for chair frames because it takes repeated stress without splitting. Sheesham is dense and handles humidity well.

Acacia and mango are excellent, more accessible choices for lower-traffic areas, lounge pieces and guest-room furniture in drier climates. Tell us the space and footfall and we will recommend the right species per item.

Is Samyog Living furniture built to withstand commercial use?

Yes. Contract furniture is specified differently from domestic furniture — joinery, section thickness, frame reinforcement and finish are all chosen for sustained daily use, frequent cleaning and the knocks a busy service floor delivers.

Because frames are solid timber rather than engineered board, a piece that takes a knock can usually be repaired in place instead of replaced. Every consignment is inspected before packing, with moisture readings issued per batch.

Can you work to our brand guidelines or an interior designer's brief?

Yes. We work directly with owners, operators, architects, interior designers and procurement teams, translating a design brief into manufacturable pieces without losing the intent. We issue detailed shop drawings with construction and joinery details, and can post a physical finish library to your studio.

Finishes can be matched to a palette or Pantone reference, upholstery specified to your fabric, and detailing adjusted to carry a brand identity across every item in the space.

How do you keep finish consistent across a large order?

The usual failure in bulk furniture is not breakage, it is variation — two shades of the same finish across a forty-cover floor is visible from the door.

We batch-produce against an approved control sample, keep documented colour recipes, and cross-lot match. Timber is kiln-dried to a specified moisture content so tops behave the same way in the same room. The control sample and recipe stay on file after delivery, so a second order placed a year later still matches the first.

What warranty applies to Samyog Living furniture?

Unless stated otherwise in your agreement, our furniture carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects in structure and workmanship, from the date of dispatch.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, water damage or improper handling, and natural variation in wood grain or finish is not a defect. Project-specific warranty terms can be recorded on the proforma invoice.

What happens if items arrive damaged or incorrect?

Inspect the consignment on arrival. If there is visible transit damage, note it on the carrier's documentation before signing and email photographs or video to info@samyogliving.com immediately.

Damage or discrepancies found after unpacking should be reported within 24 hours of receipt with your order reference, invoice number and clear images. Our quality team reviews the claim within 2–3 business days and arranges repair or replacement.

Where is Samyog Living based, and can we visit the factory?

We manufacture at our own 45,000 sq ft facility in Jodhpur, Rajasthan — India's furniture manufacturing hub — with CNC processing for repeatable parts, calibrated sanding, computer-controlled kilns and in-house wood treatment alongside traditional hand-finishing by master craftsmen.

Clients, architects and procurement teams are welcome to visit and see materials, joinery and finishes first-hand. Samyog Living LLP was founded by Yogesh Rajpurohit, with Rajesh Prajapat leading production and operations and Khushal Sankhla heading quality and logistics.
