Villa and farmhouse furniture

Villas break two assumptions that catalogue furniture is built on. The rooms are larger than standard, so pieces sized for an apartment look stranded. And a large share of the living happens outside — verandas, courtyards, poolside, lawn — which means indoor and outdoor have to be specified as one scheme rather than two shopping trips.

Scale

A 4.5-metre living room needs a sofa run and a coffee table sized for it, not a two-seater floating in the middle. A veranda that seats twelve needs a table built as one piece, not two six-seaters pushed together.

We make 6 and 8 seater tables as standard and go beyond that to your dimensions. Live-edge tops work particularly well at farmhouse scale, where the width of the plank becomes the feature.

Indoor and outdoor as one scheme

The detail that makes a villa read as designed is continuity between the veranda and the room it opens onto. That is only possible if both were made by the same factory in the same finish family, because outdoor and indoor coatings behave differently and matching them after the fact is guesswork.

Guest suites and clubhouses

Many villas run guest wings, staff quarters or a shared clubhouse. Those spaces get commercial-grade use even in a private property, and we will specify them accordingly — reinforced joinery and repairable construction rather than domestic assumptions.

Material

Seasoned Acacia, Sheesham and Mango, kiln-dried to a specified moisture content. That matters more in a farmhouse than an apartment: unconditioned rooms, wide seasonal humidity swings, and large single-piece tops that show movement if the timber was not stabilised properly.
