1. Introduction

Welcome to Samyog Living. By accessing this website or placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

These Terms govern your use of the website, all quotations and purchase transactions, and communications with Samyog Living LLP.

2. Business-to-Business Supply Only

Samyog Living LLP manufactures and supplies furniture on a business-to-business (B2B) basis only. We work with cafes, restaurants, hotels, resorts, short-stay and serviced apartment operators, QSR chains, architects, interior designers, contractors and procurement partners.

We do not accept retail or single-piece consumer orders. Products displayed on this website are shown as a design and specification reference. Any prices shown are indicative only and do not constitute an offer to sell; binding commercial terms are set out solely in the Proforma Invoice issued for your project.

By placing an order you confirm that you are acting in the course of a business, and are authorised to contract on behalf of the entity named on the Proforma Invoice.

Minimum order. We accept projects from ten pieces upward, and trade pricing applies from that quantity. Fully bespoke designs developed from scratch require sufficient volume to justify the sampling and tooling involved.

3. Quotations & Pricing

Project pricing is issued by written quotation or Proforma Invoice and is based on the specification, quantities, wood species, finish and upholstery agreed at that time.

Quotations are valid for the period stated on the document. Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) for domestic supply, exclusive or inclusive of applicable taxes as stated on the quotation. Export orders are quoted on FOB or EXW terms.

Where a specification changes after quotation — including dimensions, materials, finish, upholstery or quantity — pricing and lead time will be revised accordingly.

Images on this website are for illustrative purposes only. Actual colour, texture and wood grain vary due to the natural characteristics of timber and differences in screen rendering.

4. Orders & Acceptance

An order is confirmed only when both of the following have occurred: the Proforma Invoice has been accepted in writing, and the advance payment has been received.

Production commences after the final specification, drawings and finish are signed off. Samyog Living LLP reserves the right to decline or cancel any order where the specification cannot be manufactured to an acceptable standard, where there is a pricing or description error, or where agreed payment terms are not met.

5. Payment Terms

Standard payment terms are 50% advance against order confirmation, with the balance 50% payable before dispatch, once the order is manufactured and ready to ship.

Goods are dispatched only after the balance payment is realised. Project-specific or credit terms, where agreed, are recorded on the Proforma Invoice or written contract and override this clause.

The advance payment covers material procurement and production scheduling and is non-refundable once production has commenced, except where Samyog Living LLP is unable to fulfil the order.

6. Made-to-Order & Customised Production

All orders are manufactured to your specification. Customised and made-to-order products cannot be cancelled, returned or refunded once production has begun.

Minor variations in finish, dimension within industry tolerance, and grain are inherent to handcrafted solid wood furniture and are not defects.

Materials. Our furniture is manufactured in seasoned hardwood — acacia, mango, sheesham, teak, ash and oak. Frames and structural components are solid timber. Engineered panels, MDF or plywood, are specified only where they are the correct technical choice for the application, such as large flat surfaces, backing panels and drawer bases where a panel remains flatter than solid wood over time. We do not use particle board in any product. The material specification for your order is confirmed on the Proforma Invoice.

Where a sample or mock-up is produced, written sign-off on that sample constitutes approval of the specification for the full production run.

7. Lead Times & Delivery

Standard lead time is 6–8 weeks from order confirmation, counted from receipt of advance payment and sign-off of the final specification. Large or highly detailed projects may require longer, as confirmed on the Proforma Invoice.

Lead times are estimates given in good faith and are not of the essence of the contract unless expressly agreed in writing. Please refer to our Shipping & Delivery Policy for full details on freight, packing and receipt of goods.

Freight. Freight is charged at a flat 20% of order value and is shown on the Proforma Invoice. For export orders, terms are quoted on an FOB or EXW basis, and freight, customs clearance, duties and local taxes are borne by the buyer unless agreed otherwise in writing.

8. Inspection, Replacements & Claims

Consignments must be inspected on arrival. Visible transit damage should be noted on the carrier’s documentation before signing, and reported immediately.

Damage, shortages or discrepancies discovered after unpacking must be reported within 24 hours of receipt with the order reference, invoice number and clear photographs or video. Please refer to our Refund & Replacements Policy for eligibility and procedure.

9. Warranty

Unless otherwise stated in your written agreement, Samyog Living furniture carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects in structure or workmanship, from the date of dispatch.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, overloading, water damage, improper handling, unsuitable installation environment, or damage arising from cleaning agents not appropriate to the finish. Natural variation in wood grain, tone or finish is not a defect.

Project-specific warranty terms, where agreed, are recorded on the Proforma Invoice and override this clause.

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website — including text, product designs, images, logos, graphics and layouts — is the intellectual property of Samyog Living LLP and protected under applicable copyright and design laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use any content without prior written consent.

Where furniture is manufactured to a design supplied by the client, the client warrants that it holds the necessary rights to that design and indemnifies Samyog Living LLP against any third-party claim arising from its manufacture.

11. Limitation of Liability

Samyog Living LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including loss of profit, loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, or costs arising from delayed opening of a venue or fit-out programme — however caused.

Our total aggregate liability in respect of any claim shall not exceed the invoice value of the goods giving rise to the claim.

12. Third-Party Links

This website may include links to external sites. Samyog Living LLP is not responsible for the content, privacy policies or practices of third-party websites.

13. Force Majeure

Samyog Living LLP is not responsible for delay or failure in performance due to circumstances beyond reasonable control — including natural disasters, timber supply disruption, transportation or port delays, pandemics, strikes, or governmental or regulatory action.

14. Risk, Title & Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the buyer on delivery at the agreed address, or on handover to the buyer’s nominated carrier or freight forwarder where the sale is on EXW or FOB terms.

Title and ownership of the goods transfer to the buyer only upon receipt of full payment in cleared funds.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jodhpur, Rajasthan.

16. Changes to Terms

Samyog Living LLP reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be available on this website. The terms applicable to a given order are those in force on the date of the Proforma Invoice.
